Obama is a “failure”, Bush was “successful”?

Okay, based on what I’m being told by conservatives…

Obama’s been president for about 10-months and hasn”t ended the wars, hasn’t fixed the depression-lite economy, hasn’t brought us a fully repaired health care system, and has managed to blow our chances at becoming a host to the Olympics. So, that makes him a failure?

Yet, when Bush was at this same point in his first term in office, we had already suffered the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history (pre-warned yet couldn’t stop it), bankrupted the country with giant tax breaks, and basically had repealed most environmentally-sensitive environmental laws and had already championed a profit-oriented pro-war mindset based on attaining cheap oil with the dream of selling for record profits.

Mind you, he did it ALL with a very pro-Bush news media, that basically came to his defense EVERY time anyone questioned what the integrity behind his bat-shit crazy plans. All he had to do was blame Clinton or the “liberal media” whenever anyone pointed out the truth (that Bush”s policies were destroying – not helping – Americans).

Sooo…

In that sense, Bush was an extremely successful president – and not an incompetent leader, at all. His plan was to create an extreme rightwing, profit-before-people mindset – and he SUCCEEDED.

We now live in a fascist, pro-hatred, pro-capitalism country.

And God forbid you blame Bush for anything he ever did wrong.   Bush truly was a successful president – he succeeded at destroying our country.
